The 9a+ Chronicles: Margo Hayes’ Greatest Climbs
On February 26, 2017, Margo Hayes shattered ceilings, and history, becoming the first woman to send a 9a+ (5.15a) with La Rambla in Siurana, Spain.
By September 24, she was back at it, climbing Realization/Biographie in Céüse, France, only the third woman ever to top out a 9a+.
Then, in March 2019, Hayes completed the ultimate trilogy with Papichulo in Oliana, Spain, her third 9a+, a clean sweep of the world’s most legendary 5.15a lines.
