French climber Manon Hily has climbed Trip Tik Tonic 5.14d. Hily excels in competition lead climbing and sport climbing. She earned a bronze medal in lead climbing at the 2022 European Championships in Munich, finishing behind Janja Garnbret and Jessica Pilz.
In sport climbing, she's climbed several 5.14s in locations like Buoux and Céüse in France, and Margalef in Spain. Hily balances her climbing career with her nursing job in the South of France.
The first ascent was in 2004 by Cedric Lo Piccolo who graded it 5.14b/c, and over the years it was repeated by Adam Ondra, Joe Kinder, Magnus Midtbo and Daniel Woods at 5.14c. It had glued holds, but in 2010 Guillaume Lebret returned the climb back to its natural state and sent it at 5.14d. Seb Bouin then climbed it and agreed with the new grade.
